There are three main reasons why you cannot copy and paste from a PDF: the file is locked, copy and paste options are restricted, or the PDF you received is a scanned or image file.
Copy and Paste the Selected Text Use your mouse to select any amount of text on the page. Step 2. Choose Edit Copy to copy the text selected, or you can right-click on the selected text and then select Copy or Copy With Formatting. Since you want to keep the formatting, we suggest you choose the latter.
With the PDF opened in your browser, you can use quick keyboard shortcuts: Just select your text by highlighting it with your mouse. Then use CTRL + C (on Windows) or Command + C (on Mac) to copy text. Finally press CTRL + V (on Windows) or Command + V (on Mac) to paste the text where you want it.
How to Use the Copy Paste Text In PDF Feature. Open the PDF document you want to copy text from. Click on the Edit button in the toolbar at the top of the page. Select the Copy Paste Text option from the dropdown menu.
To embed an Excel spreadsheet in a PDF using Xchange Editor, first open the PDF document in Xchange Editor and click Insert Insert Spreadsheet. Select the Excel file you want to embed and click Open. This will insert the Excel file as an object in the PDF.
If a document is open in another application, go to the document, right-click, and select Paste to paste the copied selection directly into the target document.
Highlight the text you want to copy, right-click with your mouse, and choose Copy. Paste the text into another document of your choice, and youre good to go.
Open the PDF in Acrobat and then select Edit a PDF Image. In the dialog, select the image file you want to insert. Select where you want to insert the image or select drag to resize it as you insert. A copy of the image file appears on the page, with the same resolution as the original file.
Heres how: Select the Edit menu, then choose Select All or simply press Ctrl + A (on Windows) or Command + A (on Mac). Right-click and select Copy or press Ctrl + C (Windows) or Command + C (Mac). Paste in your desired location.
