In this tutorial, Steve discusses ebooks, reflecting on his recent use of a Kindle. He emphasizes the importance of understanding ebook file formats and their presentation on devices. Steve mentions a previous video with Brady that focused on text formatting for ebook readability but notes the need to explore how to create the actual ebook files. He raises questions about whether common formats like PDF or HTML can be used, or if new formats are necessary. Additionally, he references a recent collaboration with Professor Elton Kirk, who demonstrated software for converting published formats into ebook formats. The discussion aims to clarify the technical aspects of ebook creation.
