In this demonstration, we showcase the smart base capability of Oxygen XML, allowing users to copy content from external sources like web pages or Microsoft Word and Excel documents, converting it into valid structured content while preserving original formatting. Starting with the Flower Stock Theorem app from Oxygen sample files, we will add a new topic to our existing spring flowers collection. By right-clicking on “Spring Flowers” and choosing the new topic action, we use a data topic template for the new file named "Hyacinth Dia," which includes basic elements for efficient editing. After adding a title, we proceed to build content by copying an image from a web browser and pasting it into our topic, ensuring it is saved in our images folder to maintain content validity.
