DJ Messina here at DREC construction services at our completed ADU in Riverside. We started this one approximately 10 weeks ago so two and a half months we did have a little bit of a delay because the client opted to split the electricity at the last minute so we had to wait on the city to get that done for us and we had to that double-headed meter like we talked about it in the past so this one turned out beautiful nice island vaulted ceilings both in the kitchen in the bed in the bedroom as you can see stainless steel sink appliances white shaker in the back and ring around here gray shaker on the island beautiful quartz countertop this one also we were able to squeeze in and I should give you little details this was a 400 square foot garage and we did a 200 square foot addition to it so they are able to have a laundry room and we get a really nice big bathroom with a five-foot shower actually four and a half feet floor to ceiling tile vanity that matches

What is the difference between cement and concrete? Although the terms cement and concrete often are used interchangeably, cement is actually an ingredient of concrete. Concrete is a mixture of aggregates and paste. The aggregates are sand and gravel or crushed stone; the paste is water and portland cement.
The cement paste, comprised of a binder (usually Portland cement) and water, binds the aggregates (usually sand and gravel or crushed stone) into a rock-like mass as the paste hardens.
The cement paste, comprised of a binder (usually Portland cement) and water, binds the aggregates (usually sand and gravel or crushed stone) into a rock-like mass as the paste hardens.
Regular Portland cement-based construction materials exhibit a high compressive strength (around 2060 MPa for general usage) [1], but they fall short in terms of tensile and flexural strength values (310 MPa) for plain cement pastes [2,3].
The normal range of paste content is 23% to 32%; 27% has often been used as a good estimate of paste content in normal concrete (ACI 2111; ACI 211.3; ACI 221R). This figure should be weighted by the judgment of the petrographer of the appearance of the specimen (see Fig.
Concrete is used for large projects, while cement is used for smaller jobs, including minor repairs. The adhesive properties of cement make it an excellent binding agent, but the aggregates added in the concrete blending process make concrete substantially stronger than cement. Cement, on its own, is prone to cracking.
As a widely used chemical admixture, polyethylene glycol (PEG) is often added to concrete as a self-curing or shrinkage-reducing agent. PEG with a low molecular mass can inhibit the corrosion of chloride by increasing the viscosity of the pore solution.
While concrete is made of cement, water, sand, and gravel mixed in different proportions, mortar consists of cement, water, and lime aggregate. However, mortar is not as durable as concrete and is more of an addition to a project, rather than the main building material.
concrete (RMC) with a higher w/cm and coarse aggregates, CP is stronger than the concrete itself (that is, as aggregates are added to cement paste, the strength decreases).
