In Excel, you can paste a specific aspect of the copied data like its formatting or value using the Paste Special options. After youve copied the data, press Ctrl+Alt+V, or Alt+E+S to open the Paste Special dialog box.

A TIFF file can be copied and pasted like any other file. However, TIFF files (Tagged Image File Format) do not contain a preview image, like other image files. Cutting and pasting the entire file will work, but cutting and pasting a portion of it will just result in gibberish that is not viewable.
