In your Word document, place the cursor where you want the text to appear. Press Ctrl + Shift + V (Cmd + Shift + V on Mac). Notice how the pasted content matches the neighboring text formatting, rather than preserving its original font size, color, etc.
On Windows, open your Word document, click File Print, select Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer, choose Pages, enter the page numbers you want to extract, and click Print to save as a new PDF.
In the Caption dialog box click Numbering. Select the Include chapter number check box. In the Chapter starts with style list, select the heading style that was applied to the chapter heading. In the Use separator list, select a punctuation mark to separate the chapter number from the caption number.
Press Ctrl + A on your keyboard to highlight all text in your document. Tip: You can also highlight your entire document by placing your mouse cursor in the left margin and then quickly clicking the left mouse button three times in a row. Press Ctrl + C to copy the entire highlighted selection.
Press Ctrl and A together to select all content. This makes it easy to edit, replace, copy and paste the entire document. Alternatively, go to the Home tab and click the small arrow in the Editing groups bottom right corner. This will open a menu with the option to select all.
