Copy Multiple Layers Instead of dragging and dropping multiple layers between documents, you can choose to target the layers in the Layers panel, hit Cmd/Ctrl + C, and hit Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + V to paste the layers in place in the other document.
Copy the text you need to paste, from wherever (web, other app, other Photoshop file). Select the Ps Type tool (you would be doing this anyway, because youre pasting into a text object). Select All from the Font drop-down and Copy again. Paste into your destination text object.
To create a paragraph text layer in Photoshop: On the Tools panel, click Type Tool, and then click Horizontal Type Tool or Vertical Type Tool. Drag to create a bounding rectangle, then enter some text. To start a new paragraph, press Enter. Click Done when you are finished.
In the Edit workspace, use the Copy command to copy the part of the photo you want to paste. (You can even copy from photos in other applications.) Make a selection in the photo into which you want to paste the copied photo. Choose Edit Paste Into Selection.
Use this command to paste an image in the exact same position it lived within the document you copied it from. For example, if the image you copied was flush left in the original document, itll be flush left when you paste it into the new document. The keyboard shortcut for this command is Shift-⌘-V (Shift+Ctrl+V).
How To Place An Image In Text Step 1: Open A Photo To Place Inside Your Text. Step 2: Duplicate The Background Layer. Step 3: Add A New Blank Layer Between The Two Layers. Step 4: Fill The New Layer With White. Step 5: Select Layer 1 In The Layers Palette. Step 6: Select The Type Tool.
The keyboard shortcut for this command is Shift-⌘-V (Shift+Ctrl+V). Paste Into. Use this command to paste an image inside a selection youve made (in other words, inside the marching ants). Photoshop puts the pasted image on its own layer and creates a layer mask for you, as Figure 8-2 illustrates.
