Privacy Enhanced Mail (PEM) files are a type of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) file used for keys and certificates. PEM, initially invented to make e-mail secure, is now an Internet security standard.
To create or import an SSL/TLS certificate into ACM Sign in to the AWS Certificate Manager console . Choose Request a certificate. For Certificate type, choose Request a public certificate. Choose Next. For Fully qualified domain name, enter a custom domain name for your API, for example, api.example.com .
