hey everyone this is andrew ty and welcome to my youtube channel today iamp;#39;m going to show you how to cut and paste a file on finder on the mac operating system so cutting and pasting is something thatamp;#39;s normally quite familiar for windows users and in explorer on windows what you can normally do is to control x or right click and cut and then you can paste it in a different folder and that file will be moved from the original location into the new location however this doesnamp;#39;t seem to be a standard option on the mac operating system so what you can do is to control click on a file youamp;#39;ve got the option to copy but we donamp;#39;t have the option to cut copy the file by pressing command c so that will copy the file into clipboard and then i can move it on to a different location for example i can control click on my desktop and then click paste item and iamp;#39;ve made a copy of the file but the original is still in the original location so i havenamp;
