4 answers Open the email you are copying attachments from in the reading pane. Create or reply to an email where you want to paste the attachments, once the new widow appears put the 2 windows side by side. Drag and drop the attachments from the reading pane to the new email in the body field.
Ctrl+C is copy. Ctrl+V is paste.
In a new message, a reply, or a forwarding message, select Attach File from the Insert group on the Message tab. Tip: Youll only see Insert group on the ribbon when you select New mail, or after you select Reply, Reply all, or Forward on a received message.
Usually this has to do with the format of the email. When you send new email messages through Outlook, by default they are set to be HTML emails. However, some mail programs use Rich Text or Plain Text messaging. If you are replying to a Rich Text email, youll notice that the attachment goes in the body of the email.
How to Fix Attachments Not Showing in Outlook Reload Outlook. If you cant see attachments in an email you received, close Outlook and re-open it. Check with the sender. Look for the paperclip icon. Drag and drop files. Use the pop-out option. Select Show all. Check your internet connection. Rename the file extension.

To remove an attachment displayed in the message body, double-click the message to open it in a new window. From the Move group in the ribbon, select Actions Edit message. Click to select the attachment in the message body and then press the Delete key on the keyboard.
