copying just text not formulas in Open Office count how do I copy and paste the text not the formulas from one couch sheet to another in Open Office select the cells you want to copy and use contrl C to copy them select the cell where you want to copy the cells open the edit in GT paste special menu in the selection section ensure that the past all and formulas options are not selected select all other options in that section click okay and the cells will be copied without the formulas didnamp;#39;t work for me but found that if I copied the result from a simple equals exact Etc formula the results were either true or false and pasted it to notepad the results appeared as text and I could copy and paste them back to the worksheet in my case the accepted answer did not work as a copy just the of the column but no data what eventually worked out for me was select cells to copy copy them either crl plus C or right click and GT copy right click where you wa

Click on the Text icon. on the Text toolbar (Figure 124). If the Text toolbar with the text icon is not visible, choose View Toolbars Text. Click and drag to draw a text box on the slide.
PC: Ctrl + c for Copy, Ctrl + x for Cut, and Ctrl + v for Paste.
If you want to paste a particular item as plain text, you can either select it and press ⇧Shift ⏎Return or right-click on it and select Paste as Plain Text in the context menu. You can change the Plain Text modifier shortcut in Preferences - Shortcuts.
CTRL+ALT+Shift+V is the keyboard shortcut for pasting unformatted text.
The Clipboard task pane holds many of the last images and text you copied or cut. Note: You can still do simple cut, copy, and paste the way youre used to, either by using the buttons on the ribbon or the keyboard shortcuts CTRL+X (Cut), CTRL+C (Copy), or CTRL+V (Paste).
To get to your clipboard history, press Windows logo key + V. From the clipboard history, you can paste and pin frequently used items by choosing an individual item from your clipboard menu. Pinning an item keeps it from being removed from the clipboard history to make room for new items.
Copy the text from the web page and in OpenOffice use Edit Paste Special Unformatted Text. If you like surprises, you can try using Edit Paste instead, however this will copy invisible formatting attributes from the web page to your OpenOffice document.
Press CTRL+V to paste what you just copied to the clipboard into the edit box at the insertion point where the cursor is.
