Even better, file organization. Oh yes friends. Buckle up because this is going to be one wild ride. And especially I have access to all this explosion footage which I am going to apply liberally throughout this video. (explosion) Now I should say that this is 1/2 of a wild ride because there are in fact two halves to your file system. The files that exist in your computer, and the ones that exist here in the real world. And if youre anything like me, most of the files exist digitally. And were gonna cover exactly how to organize them in the next video in the series. But due to my very intense study on game design principles, I have learned that it is best to start off with the easier stuff. So today were gonna focus on your physical file system. Method 1: Change Document Permissions If you know the permissions password, you can change the document permissions. Go to Document Properties (File - Document Properties), select Security and click Edit button, make sure Allow Document Assembly is checked. Save the document and try to re-arrange document again.
Click on Tools and select the Organize Pages option. That will bring up a screen with all the pages of your PDF. Like before, simply click and drag pages to where they need to be. Once youve made your changes, save the PDF, and all the pages will be in the correct order next time you open the document.
Move pages in a PDF: Choose View Thumbnails or View Contact Sheet, then drag the pages to their new location. Copy a page from one PDF to another: In each PDF, choose View Thumbnails or View Contact Sheet, then drag thumbnail images from one PDF to the other.
Organizing pages in a PDF In the top navigation bar, click Edit Organize Pages. Do one of the following to select the files that you want to organize and then click Continue: Choose files from the Recent or Documents list. Add files from your computer or drag-and-drop the files onto the highlighted area.
Select the PDF file you want to reorganize. Sign in after Acrobat uploads the file. Select the page thumbnails you want to move, and drag and drop the selected pages into a new location. When youre ready, tap Save and give your PDF a new file name to save it online to docHub Document Cloud.
Consider organizing insurance statements by year, with a spreadsheet file or chart outlining what each bill is, what the insurance company paid, and what you paid.
