Ive been working on record organizing for probably about two months now lost a friend of mine recently and I acquired his huge collection and its gorgeous but Ive got to take his collection and merge it into mine and you know theres a lot of things that you think about when it comes to record organizing I thought Id ask DJs what do you do how do you organize your records no a lot of DJs said I just alphabetize things so its last name or the band name and just alphabetize everything youre done thats really difficult to do if youre dealing with more than just a couple of hundred records and if you have a couple of hundred records that probably works pretty well for you now a lot of DJs will organized by BPM I dont do that especially those DJs who are only working kind of within one genre Ive got a lot of stuff that I like I like a lot of different kinds of music and Im from the old school of crates now the way crates worked where we had them set up by category so for ins
