Commercial Use License means an intellectual property license that allows certain types of commercial exploitation of such intellectual property; specifically, a Commercial Use License delivers a perpetual, exclusive, non-sublicensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use such Content for commercial or business
Examples include, but are not limited to, merchandise, books for sale (including textbooks), apps that will be sold or have advertising, periodicals and journals with paid subscriptions, TV programs and commercial films, advertisements, websites that sell images, and cause-related marketing.
While license rules vary by city and county, some common local business licenses include: Operating licenses. Building permits. Zoning and land use permits. Health licenses and permits. Signage licenses.
What is non-commercial use vs commercial use? Non-commercial means something is not primarily intended for, or directed towards, commercial advantage or monetary compensation by an individual or organisation.
A Personal license is an option for private individuals who purchase a license with their own funds and solely for their own use.
If your use of the licensed Asset results in indirect or direct monetary gain (e.g. donations, etc) this would be considered Commercial Use, and a Personal License would not allow it. For the purpose of our licenses, non-profit does not necessarily equate to personal use.
Virginia does not require a statewide business license, however, it does have licensing or certification requirements for certain professions and occupations. Real estate brokers, engineers and home inspectors, for example, must obtain a state license. Youll need an ABC license to sell alcohol.
Commercial License means any license granted to You in return for payment of royalty fees and entitling You to distribute and/or make available Derivative Works on a commercial scale.
