How to Make a High Quality Scan Make sure there isnt a copy already available. Check your scanner setting before you begin scanning. Make sure the document or book is aligned with the scanner to prevent crooked, unaligned pages. Crop your scanned paged pages. Prep the pages text content.
Open the photograph or image of the document in Acrobat. From the All tools menu, select Scan OCR. From the left panel, select Enhance camera image and then from the dialog that opens, select Enhance. The image is enhanced and a PDF of the image is shown.
Optimize a PDF (Acrobat Pro) Open a PDF in Acrobat. From the hamburger menu (Windows) or the File menu (macOS), select Save As Other Reduced Size PDF. Choose the location to save the file and select Save. Acrobat displays a message showing the successful reduction in PDF size.
Follow the steps below to create a high-resolution PDF from your existing PDF using Acrobat. Open the PDF in Acrobat and go to File Save as Other Press-Ready PDF (PDF/ X) In the Save As PDF dialog box, click on Settings. In the Preflight dialog, select Save as PDF/X-4 and Click OK. Note:
