The NKJV does not omit hun- dreds of verses, phrases and words as is done in these other versions. It is not a loose translation or a paraphrase.
The NIV has some missing verses because it is based on different manuscripts than, say, the King James version. For some background, we dont have manuscripts of the original writings of the New Testament.
