hey guys I want to give you a quick trick that I just found out for an upcoming project we need a way to with PHP modify a docx file okay so basically the task at hand is wed like to have a docx like so with a special in it that can be replaced by PHP okay now that is not a easy task you cannot do this with a docx file because doc files are compiled and they have would have to be read by a comma object and it just it wouldnt work but with docx they can actually do this how is that possible docx is actually a zip file I can actually get info rename this as a zip like so I can actually unzip it here it is go into the content of the folder go to the word folder go into the document that XML file make it so we can read it and now heres that header one file that I can say Ive been replaced whatever save oops and now heres the trick to saving it out you need to so heres the folder you cant compress this folder that wont work you actually have to select the files inside and compress

DOCX file is a document that you can create in a word processing program such as Microsoft Word, Apple Pages or OpenOffice. This type of document can display text, images, charts and special formatting.
Anonymizing a Word document In the tabs at the top of the document window (Home, Insert, etc.), click Review - Protect - Protect Document. Check the box for: Remove personal information from this file on save Save the document.
To remove all tracked changes from a document, be sure that all changes are showing, and then do the following: Click the Review tab on the ribbon. To accept all changes, click Accept All Changes in Document. To selectively accept or reject changes, click Accept and Move to Next or Reject and Move to Next.
From the Word Preferences dialog box, select User Information under the Personal Settings heading. Delete all the personal information that is displayed, click OK, then save your document.
Remove a password from a document Open the document and enter its password. Go to File Info Protect Document Encrypt with Password. Clear the password in the Password box, and then click OK.
Click Inspect Document. Click Inspect. The Document Inspector will scan your file for personal information. Click Remove All if Document Inspector finds personal information in your file. Now click Close then save your document.
Remove personal information from a document On the Word menu, click Preferences. Under Privacy options, select the Remove personal information from this file on save check box. Save the document.
To view the Personal Information before removing it click on Prepare and then Document Properties. If Word finds metadata, it will prompt you to Remove All. Once you click Remove All, it cannot be undone.
