Using vinegar and mild detergent with a soft cloth will clear up the tarnish. You can also use vinegar for the tough spots left behind or even a metal cleaner!
Add a hearty pour of baking soda (about cup or cup), and then carefully place your pan in the water. Reduce the water to a gentle boil and let the pan cook for about 15 to 30 minutes, flipping or rotating it if necessary so that all the sides are boiled. You should start to see brown residue flaking off.
But for these 8 hardest and stubborn stains to remove, you would be needing more than that to get rid of them. Hot Cocoa. Poop. Blood. Permanent Marker. Tomato Sauce. Grass Stains. Red Wine. Chocolate.
White stains can be removed with household alcohol. Fat stains can be removed with dishwashing liquid or soapy water mixed with a degreasing product. Black and more difficult to remove stains can be removed with soapy water or dishwashing liquid. Black soap and salt can also help to remove these types of stains.
To remove tough stains on stainless-steel appliances, wet a thick, clean towel with distilled white vinegar that has been brought to a boil. Make sure to use caution when handling the boiled vinegar. Step 2: Soak and Wipe. Place the damp towel on the spot and let it sit for 30 minutes.
To clean stainless steel, spray a vinegar and water mix onto the stain, gently wipe with a soft cloth or sponge, rinse, and hand-dry. For extra shine and protection, apply a small amount of olive oil evenly to the appliance.
Hydrogen peroxide is a wonderful way to remove yellow sweat stains and to correct the color of any stains that still remain. Simply spray it on and let it air dry, the longer you let it sit the better! Pro tip, blast it with some hot air from a hair dryer to turbocharge the reaction.
Method #1 Carter uses a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Spray enough vinegar/water solution to wet the stain. Let this work for 30 seconds. Vacuum using a wet/dry vac or blot the stain with a clean dry cloth, soaking up the stain. Repeat until no more stain is transferred onto the cloth.
