Sealing an object prevents extensions and makes existing properties non-configurable. A sealed object has a fixed set of properties: new properties cannot be added, existing properties cannot be removed, their enumerability and configurability cannot be changed, and its prototype cannot be re-assigned.
The Object. isExtensible() static method determines if an object is extensible (whether it can have new properties added to it).
freeze() method freezes an object. As I mentioned previously, it provides the ability to prevent object extension entirely. i.e. new properties can not be added to the object nor its possible to update the existing properties.
freeze makes an object completely immutable, while Object. seal allows existing properties to be modified, but prevents the addition and deletion of new properties.
isfrozen() is used for checking whether an object is frozen or not.Object. isFrozen() Method: Among the Object constructor methods, there is a method Object. If it is not extensible. If all of its properties are non-configurable. If all its data properties are non-writable.
An object is sealed if it is not extensible and if all its properties are non-configurable and therefore not removable (but not necessarily non-writable).
The Object. Sealing an object prevents extensions and makes existing properties non-configurable. A sealed object has a fixed set of properties: new properties cannot be added, existing properties cannot be removed, their enumerability and configurability cannot be changed, and its prototype cannot be re-assigned.
seal() allows changes to the existing properties of an object. It prevents from deletion of existing properties but cannot prevent them from external changes. Object. freeze() does not allow so.
