Deactivating a QR Code is a feature of Dynamic QR Codes. It is not possible to deactivate a Static QR Code as it stores the data in the QR Code itself.
Disabling WiFi sharing QR codes directly isnt common. You can do so by turning off guest network functionality entirely. or Render existing QR codes useless by changing your WiFi password.
You can delete a QR Code if you no longer wish to use it. Doing this will remove the QR Code from the Active list. If you delete a QR Code and a user scans it, they will see an error. Deleted codes are placed in Trash and you can easily restore them from here.
Only Dynamic QR Codes are deactivated when the free trial ends. Static QR Codes continue working. If youre not sure what kind of QR Codes you created, visit How do I know if I created a Dynamic or Static QR Code? Its not possible to convert Dynamic QR Codes into Static QR codes or vice versa.
You can disguise your QR code as part of an image. Since visual QR codes are customizable, you can add them to the overall picture using the same color scheme. By doing so, you will still be able to maintain the images aesthetic, and users wont notice that you hide a QR code in that image.
If you would like to delete a QR Code, follow the steps below. Log in to your account. Hover under the download button next to your QR Code to reveal the three vertical dots. Select the dots and then select Delete. Carefully read the pop-up window and then confirm by selecting Delete.
In order to delete a QR code first you have to archive it. Confirm by clicking Yes. After that head to the Archived QR codes section on the left sidebar. You will find a button to permanently delete the QR code.
Select the Remove tool from the editing toolbar. This tool is represented by an eraser icon. Click on the QR code in the PDF file to remove it. The QR code will be deleted instantly.
