(NOTE: As a workaround, you can open a photo taken in portrait mode, select the adjustment settings icon and drag the Blur and Depth adjustments to zero to basically revert the image back to one with no portrait effects.)
Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center. Tap the Portrait Orientation Lock button to make sure that its off. Turn your iPhone sideways.
Go to Tools and Tap Removal to Remove People from Photos. In the bottom left corner of your screen, you will see the Tools button. Tap it and then tap Removal, which is in the list of options that come up, along with Crop Rotate, Fisheye, and Perspective.
