Launch the camera app on your phone. Swipe to the left to switch to Portrait Mode or tap the Portrait option at the bottom of the screen. Select whether you want a zoomed-in view or a wide view.
Swipe down from the top of your screen to enable Auto-Rotate, then turn your phone to the side to switch to landscape mode. Turn your phone upright to switch back to portrait mode.
(NOTE: As a workaround, you can open a photo taken in portrait mode, select the adjustment settings icon and drag the Blur and Depth adjustments to zero to basically revert the image back to one with no portrait effects.)
Portrait mode for Android Open the camera app. Select the menu button or swipe to choose the portrait option.
How to Remove Portrait Mode After Taking a Photo Open the Photos app. Select the Portrait mode photo that you want to turn into a regular photo. Tap Edit. Tap the yellow Portrait button to disable the feature. Tap Done.
Swipe down from the top of your screen to enable Auto-Rotate, then turn your phone to the side to switch to landscape mode. Turn your phone upright to switch back to portrait mode.
After you take a photo in Portrait mode, you can remove the Portrait mode effect if you dont like it. In the Photos app , open the photo, tap Edit, then tap Portrait to turn the effect on or off.
