This is the worlds first ever actual pool of Jello! And while it may look simple, its actually a very difficult engineering challenge to pull off. As proof, if you Google Jello Pool, you will either find bad CGI, or a handful of videos of people who tried to do this, but it really didnt work out. So today, we are going to answer possibly the longest standing question from my childhood: What would it be like to actually belly flop in a pool of Jello? But before we do that, I want to talk about what we actually had to go through for the past 6 months to pull this off. The idea of a Jello pool has been on my bucket list for over 4 years. In fact, when Kevin from The Backyard Scientist and I made the 25 million Orbeez pool, our first idea was to do a pool of Jello, but its really hard. Because if youve ever made Jello, you might recall you first have to boil water, then mix in the powder, and then you have to refrigerate it for it to actually get firm. Failing a course Repeat the course. Take a different course to earn credit for the one you failed. Apply to write a supplemental examination.
If you fail a class, youll get a 0 on your transcript and that can bring down your GPA. Failed classes count toward your GPA, though some colleges do not count pass/fail classes in your GPA calculation. If you get an F, you still have to pay for the class without receiving any credit toward your degree.
All courses, whether passed or failed, may be attempted up to three times. For the third attempt, a student must consult the Undergraduate Studies Office of their Faculty. Only the last grade obtained is used in the calculation of the cumulative grade point average (CGPA). A failing grade can replace a passing grade.
Yes they do care a lot about your grade 11 marks. Because you have to apply before your grade12 are in. Whether 80% is good enough depends on the school and your major.
A student who fails a course (grade below 50% / D) will need to repeat that class in order to graduate (if a student fails an elective class, they can repeat the same class or take a different elective in its place).
Failing a course may impact you being promoted to the next semester. Failed grades are calculated in your GPA, if you repeat the course and achieve a passing grade, the failing (or lower) grade is excluded from the GPA calculations. The passing (or higher) grade is included in the GPA calculations.
In order to obtain final standing in a course, a student must receive at least a passing grade (50%)/P/CR in that course. A Grade of F is a failure.
If you failed a course then you can retake it for credit. The failed grade will not be removed or averaged; rather both the failed grade and the new grade are calculated into the GPA and included on your academic transcript.
