To remove a legend in ggplot2, you can set the `show. legend` argument to `FALSE` in the specific geom function or globally in the `theme()` function by using `theme(legend. position = none)`. This way, no legend will be included in your plot.
To remove the legend from our box plot with outliers in ggplot2 , we can add the guides() function and set fill = FALSE within it.
In order to remove the legend, there are four ways. They are : Using . remove() Using . setvisible() Fix legend attribute of the required Axes object = None. Using label=nolegend
The `guides()` function is your best friend. To remove the shape legend, use `guides(shape = none)`.
legend = FALSE can be added to the geompoint() command. This will hide the legend from the plot, leaving only the data points displayed. Similarly, when creating a bar chart, legend. position = none can be added to the geombar() command to hide the legend.
Edit legend entries in the Select Data Source dialog box In the Select Data Source dialog box, in the Legend Entries (Series) box, select the legend entry that you want to change. Click Edit. Tip: To add a new legend entry, click Add, or to remove a legend entry, click Remove.
Click Format to open the chart formatting options. In the Chart pane, expand the Legend section. Add or edit the Legend to meet your needs. Use the switch to show or hide the legend.
If we want to remove the axis labels then axes = FALSE argument can be used. For example, if we have a vector x then the boxplot for x without axes labels can be created by using boxplot(x,axes=FALSE).
