Answer: Right-click on the section name on the left. Select one of the two options: Hide (Drill-Down OK): this option allows you to double-click on the section in the report preview to see the hidden values. Suppress (No Drill-Down): this option does not allow you to see the hidden values in the report preview.
Hidden or suppressed sections are not visible in Design View of Crystal report Select File Options. Mark or Unmark the checkbox for Show Hidden Sections. Click OK.
Go to Report Settings - Column Properties option. Column Properties tab displays a list of columns in a report along with a list of columns that are kept hidden by default. To hide a column, mouseover the column name and click on the Delete Icon.
Text-based RPT files can be opened with any text editor, like the Notepad program built-in to Windows. The free Notepad++ tool is another option, and there are plenty of others that work similarly.
If it is conditionally suppressed, then you can go into the conditional suppression formula of the field and include a variable that is set to 1 when suppressed and 0 otherwise. You can then use this variable and see if the field is suppressed by checking if the variable returns 1 or 0.
2. Re: Crystal Report with field TRUE OR FALSE, I need to show one image as CHECKED OR UNCHECKED. right click on the image. select format graphic to the right of suppress select the formula button. enter the following {Command. NAMEOFFIELD} TRUE press save and close
