todays question is field priority not visible in the new issue view so the actual resolution to this is that at the field configuration layer the field is hidden Im going to show you how to hide or unhide a field through the field configuration Im going here on my jira project were going to come over to the Gear go to issues and then were going to come down to field configurations on the left hand side by default you are given the default field configuration Im just going to go to the default one Im going to click on configure here on the right hand side Im going to look up Priority field and youll notice that theres an actions and ability to hide so if you do that Im going to hit create here youll notice that I have a priority field here when I click on hide that priority field should be gone now if I click on create youll notice that as I scroll through here my priority is now gone and so thats how you hide and unhide fields and using the field configuration

Takeaway. Omit utility type works on object type or interfaces to omit one of the key-value pair. Exclude only works on union literal to exclude one of the property. Omit uses Pick and Exclude under the hook.
In TypeScript, the Exclude utility type lets us exclude certain members from an already defined union type. That means we can take an existing type, and remove items from it for specific situations.
For TypeScripts Omit generic, its ability is to convert existing object type into new object type. To implement the above type transformation, we need to iterate over the types excluding Keys and return the new object type. For this requirement, we need to use the mapped types provided by TypeScript.
These are both used to create a new type with only a set of options from the original type. However, they both work slightly differently. Lets take a look at the high-level difference. Pick only take the items you define you want. Omit will pick every item you dont define to omit.
To remove a property from an object in TypeScript, mark the property as optional on the type and use the delete operator. You can only remove properties that have been marked optional from an object.
To omit values from an enum, you can use the Exclude type. Here is an example of omitting values from an enum: typescript enum Animal { Dog, Cat, Fish } type WithoutFish = Exclude
