omit() method is used to return a copy of the object that is composed of the own and inherited enumerable property paths of the given object that are not omitted. It is the opposite of the . pick() method.
An additional function, dow(), returns the day of the week (mon, tue, and so on) for a specified date. For a description of the dow() function, see Data Type Conversion Functions (see page Data Type Conversion Functions). Returns a date value truncated to the specified unit.
In base R, use na. omit() to remove all observations with missing data on ANY variable in the dataset, or use subset() to filter out cases that are missing on a subset of variables.
