[Music] thank you well hey there guys and welcome back on this weeks show were doing some canvas engraving with the Wayne locks L6 laser engraver well lately Ive been playing around with some different ideas and one of them has been engraving images onto stretched canvas now for this Im just using some Dollar Store canvases but there is some preparation work that needs to be done so lets head over to the bench and Ill show you what you need for this so Ive just gone to the local dollar store and picked up a couple of these stretched canvases here and these are the five by seven size I think theyre something like a dollar fifty for the pair of them so they are extremely cheap but you cannot just engrave directly on the canvas so the first thing that youre going to need is some spray paint in my case Im going to use three different colors but were going to start off with a nice even coat of white on both of the canvases and once that white coat is dry were going to add a coat
