have you ever heard of a water damage endorsement letamp;#39;s say you have a broken pipe normally youamp;#39;re covered for all the ensuing damage but not with this endorsement in this case the homeowner was capped at just five thousand dollars but it gets worse they tried to sue to get the money for the access to plumbing the court still sided with the insurance company guys this is another example of insurance companies inserting restrictive language that can really hurt you financially if you have a loss if you want to know if youamp;#39;re at risk take advantage of my free policy review go to my bio click on the link and click on homeowner

Typically it means that you did not put your name on the back. You might have put it in the wrong location, too far from the end. If your bank has requirements for mobile deposit, it might require you to write For Deposit Only before your name.
Endorsement/riders are important because they address issues or items not in the original contract or policy. Additional Coverage-An endorsement that adds or includes coverage that would otherwise be excluded. Exclusions- Some endorsements exclude coverage for certain types of claims.
When youve paid by check, its important to review the endorsements on the checks in your bank statement to ensure the checks were negotiated by the party you intended to pay. An endorsed check is a receipt. If the check in your statement is not endorsed by the payee, you do not have a valid receipt.
Sign your name as written on the check using ink, not pencil. Write the incorrect name first if your name was misspelled then write your correct name below the incorrect name and official signature. Banks require that you endorse checks to prevent check fraud. Signing the back of a check helps confirm your identity.
Ex: Could not find endorsement on back of check: make sure check is endorsed! Retake photo this error reminds you to look to see if you endorsed (i.e. signed) the back of the check. If you need assistance with making a Mobile Check Deposit, then please call us at 904-475-8000 or visit your local branch.
If a check has multiple payees, and the word or does not appear, all payees must endorse the check. As an example, a check made payable to you and your Bank must be endorsed by both. 6. If the payee of a check you have written fails to endorse a deposited check, that check may be returned to you.
Forged/Missing/Incorrect Endorsement Everything about the signature on the back of the check (AKA the endorsement) is warranted by the depository institution. If the signature is not valid (is not the signature of the payee), or the named payee of the check did not benefit from the item, the BOFD is on the hook.
This would be for a check that you deposit. Typically it means that you did not put your name on the back. You might have put it in the wrong location, too far from the end. If your bank has requirements for mobile deposit, it might require you to write For Deposit Only before your name.
