There are two common reasons why you might turn email images off, even if its on by default in your email client. One is to keep your email private from spammers. If you do not click on any links, the only way a sender can know that youve seen their email is if you load the images. The second reason is for speed.
If your internet connection is slow or you want to save mobile data, turn off images. On your computer, go to Gmail. In the top right, click Settings. See all settings. Scroll down to the Images section. Click Ask before displaying external images. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
Delete an image If you want to remove an image from your email completely, just click anywhere on the image and click the trash can icon. It doesnt matter what type of image you have or where your image is located in the email - its the same process to remove them.
