hi we are going to do a right pearl twist without a cable needle if we were using a cable needle we would insert it into this first stitch here and hold it at the back of the work then knit through the back loop on the second stitch and purl the stitch on the cable needle however we dont need that what were going to do is to move these two stitches over to this needle as if we were knitting two together which changes the order theyre sitting in and we need to get them back to the left needle so we can work them so what were going to do is were going to move through the stitch from right to left to bring it back over and then the same with this stitch moving from right to left and then were going to knit this stitch through the back of the loop because it was the second stitch as was sitting previously and pearl this stitch which would have been on a cable needle
