Alicia: Okay, omit codes. I had to think about this for a little bit and I actually sent a message out to a couple of my coder friends who have been coding a lot longer than I have and who have also done inpatient coding. And got a really good response from this. The question was, Can you please explain the use of omit code in the ICD 9? I just dont get it. If were not to use the code then why do they have it in the book? This is what Im thinking it means. Can you confirm or tell me what it does in fact mean? The example in volume 3 ICD 9 Hospital Procedures 39.3 suture of a vessel. Then under that is it has an exclude note and under that, an omit code and it lists other codes which theres the those are all procedural codes for inpatient coding. Does it mean that if I am coding anything from this list that I should not code anything in 39.3 category as well? So I got a great response from Lisa who is one of the HCC coders. Theyre training with me and she has a lot of experienc

MD013 - Line length This rule is triggered when there are lines that are longer than the configured line length (default: 80 characters). To fix this, split the line up into multiple lines. This rule has an exception where there is no whitespace beyond the configured line length.
As the syntax describes, we have to use the hash (#) symbol followed by a space and then write the particular text you want to create a heading with. Here the single hash (#) refers to creating the h1 heading. We have opened the Visual Studio Code tool to compile the markdown script on it.
Ignoring Markdown formatting You can tell GitHub to ignore (or escape) Markdown formatting by using \ before the Markdown character.
Hide or remove content To hide Markdown, use the {toggle} directive. To hide or remove code cells or their outputs, use notebook cell tags.
In Markdown, you can escape various characters using a backslash ( \ ), so if you wanted to type C#, you would use C\# . Unfortunately, when creating a heading the trailing hash character gets treated as an optional header close tag.
As mentioned in the other answers to the question, you can simply escape backticks with a backslash `\` for inline formatting. Extra spacing also required if you want a backtick at the start of your quote.
The way to escape a special character is to add a backslash before it, e.g., I do not want \italic text\ here . Similarly, if # does not indicate a section heading, you may write \# This is not a heading . As mentioned in Section 4.12, a sequence of whitespaces will be rendered as a single regular space.
Replace the hash with %23 . # is a valid URI character, but it starts the hash fragment, so you need to encode it in the query string.
