You can do \renewcommand*{\numberline}[1]{{}} in your preamble to remove the numbering of chapters/sections/subsections/etc.
For unnumbered sections, include an asterisk after section. \item \textbf{\emph{RQ a}}: {How effectively can we model different aspects of exploratory search such as knowledge discovery, creativity, exploration using implicit features extracted from the user search process to identify underperforming users?}
By default, your LaTeX document has a Chapter name (Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc.) for each chapter. If you want to remove such chapter name from your document, then you can use titlesec package and define the titleformat in order to hide the chapter title.
It is often necessary to comment out temporarily a region of TeX or LaTeX code. This can be done with the commands C-c ; and C-c % .
To create an end section or subsection in LaTeX, you can use the command \end{section} or \end{subsection} respectively. These commands should be placed at the end of the section or subsection you want to mark.
The way to create a section heading is to type the following \section{Text}. If you want to change the number to be in Roman nu- merals, type the following: \renewcommand{\thesection}{\Roman{section}}.
