the final topic Iamp;#39;d like to address in this semester is that of printing dot sheets the dot sheet tool can be found again under the print menu tools do sheet tool one important thing to remember is that our DOT sheets are laid out per performer and not per set so when you see page uh 106 that means that there are 106 different performers and not 106 different sets in our show so scrolling to any one of these just shows us that particular performers information on their dot sheet I donamp;#39;t have many options here but they work really well we have font size just to change the layout a bit and we have use short forms or long forms for any different terminology you might need to use to tell your performers where to be whether that be stage right stage left side one side two and whatever that is for your particular Ensemble you can change those options so that that is what prints on your dot sheet you have a long form and an abbreviated version for each so that when you go thro

The command \chapter is the one used in plain LaTeX to start a new chapter. This macro changes the required counters (the chapter, section, and float counters, among others) and also produces a large heading that usually consists of the chapter number and its title.
Select Home Show/Hide . This will display non-printing charactersparagraph markers, section breaks, page breaks, etc. that you may want to see while youre working on your document. Double-click the page break so that its selected, and then press Delete.
By default, your LaTeX document has a Chapter name (Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc.) for each chapter. If you want to remove such chapter name from your document, then you can use titlesec package and define the titleformat in order to hide the chapter title.
Removing a Chapter Heading Open the style editor and right click on Heading 1 paragraph style New. On the Organizer tab give it a name (for example, Preface), select as Body Text as Next Style and dont touch Inherited from (it must remain as Heading 1)
Another option is to try the \let\cleardoublepage\clearpage command before your appendices to avoid the behavior. Or, if you dont care using a two-sided layout, using the option oneside to your documentclass (eg \documentclass[oneside]{book} ) will switch to using a one-sided layout.
To suppress page numbers on a single page, use \thispagestyle{empty} somewhere within the text of the page. Note that, in the standard classes, \maketitle and \chapter use \thispagestyle internally, so your call must be after those commands.
LaTeX. In LaTeX, unnumbered sections, subsections, and so forth can be produced by adding an asterisk to the sectioning command, as in this example.
