Place your card on a flat surface that can handle being heated up. Heat up the card with the hair dryer. When warmed up, bend the card in the direction it needs to go to flatten again. Place the card between the flat surface and a heavy object, such as a large book or other flat object.
Exposing credit card information online can lead to fraud and legal liability. Users often share credit card numbers via email, customer support tools, cloud drives, and messaging apps. To mask credit card numbers, businesses can use email masking software, built-in redaction tools, and API-based scanning.

Knowing the first 4 digits is not much of a security risk. They still need to know the remaining 12 digits as well as the expiry date and often the 3 digit code on the back to be able to use your card.
