This video tutorial is provided by the College of Graduate Studies at UCF. In this video, I will review the requirements for using caption numbering and demonstrate how to apply and modify caption numbering throughout the document. Chapter numbering must be completed before caption numbering can be used. This type of specialized numbering should only be used if required as it makes extensive changes to the document. We recommend that you apply this formatting only once, toward the end of your revisions to the document. Before you apply these changes, save a backup copy of the file in case the numbering corrupts the file. Within the Word document, weamp;#39;re going to reinsert the captions to ensure that they pick up the chapter numbering. Youamp;#39;ll need to reinsert the captions for all tables and figures throughout the document. Find the first table or figure within your document. Delete the portion of the Table title with the Label and Number, but leave the rest of the title. W
