hi in this video weamp;#39;re going to show you how to switch your Microsoft account to a local account in Windows 10 so we did a video for this on Windows 11 so the process is pretty much the same but we figured uh we would do one for people who are still using Windows 10 so when you make this change you donamp;#39;t need to worry about things like your documents or your desktop or your user profile changing because itamp;#39;s going to be using the same profile as just converting it to a Microsoft account so this is different if you just added a local account as a separate account because then youamp;#39;d have to transfer everything over and doing it this way you do not have to do it like that so normally you log into Windows using a Microsoft account which is your Microsoft email and password and that way itamp;#39;s tied to one drive if youamp;#39;re using that or if youamp;#39;re syncing settings between computers but if you just want to have a local account thatamp;#39;s

How do I delete my Microsoft Office 365 account? Sign in to your Microsoft account. Navigate to the Security tab. Under Account security, select More security options. Choose Remove your Microsoft account and follow the on-screen instructions.
Click Credential Manager. In the Windows Credentials and Generic Credentials section, remove all stored credentials referencing the Office 365 or Microsoft Office: Select the Credential. Click Remove.
Edit the registry to remove cached credentials: Select Start, select Run, type regedit, and then select OK. In Registry Editor, locate the following registry subkey: Select the Office account that you want to delete, and then select Delete.
To remove stored credentials and force Outlook to use your Windows desktop credentials, follow these steps. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Credential Manager. Locate the set of credentials that has Outlook in the name. Click the name to expand the set of credentials, and then click Remove from Vault.
Select the names of the users that you want to delete, select the three dots (more actions), and then choose Delete user. Although you deleted the users account, youre still paying for the license.
Remove from Your Computer: Go to Start Settings Accounts Access work or school. Select the account you wish to remove. Click Disconnect. Confirm your actions by selecting Yes. Note that this will remove access from your PC, but it will not delete the account entirely.
To get the currently signed in users SID, run the command whoami /user in a non-elevated command prompt. Open Control Panel Credential Manager. Select Windows Credentials. Remove all credentials listed for Office by selecting the drop-down arrow next to each one, and select Remove.
