Eviction At the End of Your LeaseTop When your lease ends, you need to renew it with your landlord or move out. If you dont do one of these things within one rental period (usually one month), your landlord can file a summons and complaint to evict you.
Generally, an eviction report will remain part of your rental history for seven years. If you are in the process of applying for a lease, ask the landlord or leasing company to tell you the name of the tenant screening company they use.
Steps of a Commercial Lease Eviction A notice will be provided to the tenant. Once the notice has expired, the landlord can file a complaint with the court, which will then issue a summons that starts the process of judicial eviction. The tenant must respond to the summons based on the deadline within.

To expunge an eviction, a tenant typically files a form with the court in person, through mail, or e-filing online. The tenant is also required to serve the landlord involved in the action with notice of the filing.
