This is the set of Rules that applies to protected health information and sets forth the privacy and security requirements that HIPAA covered entities and business associates, collectively regulated entities, must follow, as well as the rights that individuals have, such as the right to access their health information. We do this through rulemaking and guidance, investigations and enforcement actions, and outdocHub.
