okay its been a while since Ive done one of these one-minute how-tos so today Im going to show you how to convert a PDF file or an image into text you can easily edit on Google Docs start off by selecting your PDF file or image file and lets go to Drive so you open your Drive lets create a folder this folder will be my conversion folder so convert PDF and what Google Drive is going to do is its going to use OCR or optical character recognition so we simply click drag and drop our files into this new folder so lets select my files click drag and drop them in here lets wait for the files to be uploaded now we have a PDF file as you can see and an image file now the image file is a photograph of an article I am now going to right click on my PDF and instead of opening it with a PDF reader Im going to go straight for Google Docs Google Docs is now going to use OCR to read all the characters and is going to present me with text I can easily edit okay we now have the image which is
