Florida requires that you sign the quitclaim deed in front of two disinterested witnesses. All signatures must be docHubd. After you complete the deed, make enough copies for all parties. Without delay, record the original deed with the county recorder in the county where the property is located.
Florida requires two witnesses for these documents. One can be the notary, while the other can be someone the signer knows well, such as a relative, friend, or neighbor, as long as they are not involved in the transaction.
Once the blank spaces in the deed are filled out legibly, all grantors listed must sign the deed in front of a notary. The grantee(s) does not need to sign the deed.
