most of us have seen on job applications where you are asked have you ever been fired or been asked to resign its that last part that I want to discuss today because the questions about what you should do when faced with the requests to resign sometimes come up although you dont hear about them as much as you do terminations basically when you are asked to resign a number of things have happened first of all youve youve not read the signposts in the road up to now and youve let things get to a point where theyve generated at your workplace maybe through your fault or maybe through your bosses but things have started to erode and you havent paid attention to the signs but youve held on consistently offering some consistent level of job performance and so they decided not to fire you so the first thing going through your head is well why dont you just fire me well this is where things get tricky because terminations are done when its safe to do so from a litigious standpoint b

How do I resign my notary public commission? If you want to resign your commission, send a letter to the Secretary of State and deliver all of your notarial records and papers to the county in which your current oath of office is on file within 30 days and destroy your seal. (California Government Code section 8209.)
An online notary public is a commissioned notary public in the State of Texas who has the authority to perform a remote notarization using an audio-visual conference rather than having the individual physically appear before the notary at the time of the notarization.
Renewing your commission in Texas is simple with the NNA. To renew your four-year commission in the Lone Star State, you will need to purchase a $10,000 Notary bond and submit a new application and filing fee. Your application can be submitted up to 90 days before your current commission expires.
A notary is a publicly commissioned official who serves as an impartial witness to the signing of a legal document. Document signings where the services of a notary are generally necessary are real estate deeds, affidavits, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, bills of sale, or other official transactional documents.
A traditional notary public must use SOS Form 2303 to voluntarily surrender the notarys commission, rather than this form. The surrender of a notary public commission is effective as of the date of execution of the voluntary surrender form.
If you leave your current position through resignation or termination, you must remember that your employer may not take possession of your notary seal or journal, even if your employer paid for the supplies. You must take the supplies with you. Your commission, seal, and notary journal belong to you.
Texas law specifies that notaries can charge no more than $6 for the first acknowledgement, $1 for each additional signature, $6 for oaths and $0.50 per 100 words of a deposition. If you charge customers more than the state-allowed amount, you could lose your notary license and possibly face fines.
