does my contract need to be docHubd it depends on what kind of contract im putting together pennsylvania law does require that some agreements be docHubd for example a financial power of attorney needs to be docHubd in order to be valid there are also situations where the actual contract is not required to be docHubd but a related document is for example a d transferring ownership of real estate from one person to another needs to be docHubd even though the contract containing the terms of the agreement does not however most contracts do not need to be docHubd in order to be valid bottom line getting a contract docHubd can add an extra layer of formality and validity but in most cases its not an absolute necessity as always this is knowledge not advice if youve got specific questions hit me up and lets chat one on one

Generally, contracts dont need to be docHubd, as the signed contract itself is legally binding. However, if a potential legal dispute arises between the parties, having the contract docHubd can be very beneficial. Having a notary will provide proof of the parties entering into the contract.
To be legally valid, a contract must fulfill four basic requirements: All signees must be above the age of consent. All parties must agree to the contract freely. All parties must be able to understand the agreement (legal capacity). The terms of the agreement must be permitted in law.
A contract is simply a promise between two parties that can be legally enforced. There must be an exchange of something of value by each party, such as money, goods, or services. A contract can be as simple as buying a gallon of milk or as complex as selling a company.
Contract Components There are three elements that must be present for a contract to exist: offer, acceptance, and consideration. The first step to a contract is an offer. An offer is a written or spoken statement by a party of his or her intention to be held to a commitment upon acceptance of the offer.
Under the Civil Code, a contract is valid and binding if all its elements are present, i.e., the elements of consent, object, and cause. Thus, even if the contract is not docHubd, it is valid provided these elements are present.
Just like wills, there is generally no requirement that a contract be docHubd in order to be legally binding. However, if a party who signed a business agreement decides to dispute that agreement in court, a docHubd contract can help a great deal.
