Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can edit a PDF using Microsoft Word, and as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well letamp;#39;s jump on the desktop. Here I am on my desktop, and I have a PDF file called certificate. Iamp;#39;m going to go ahead and click on that and I have this nice certificate that I found online. Itamp;#39;s a PDF file and I run a company and I have some employees who I want to celebrate. You know, instead of giving people a pay raise, Iamp;#39;m just going to give him this paper certificate and hopefully that makes them satisfied with this company. No, really, Iamp;#39;d probably just give him more money, I think that makes people happy and maybe throw the certificate in too, but hereamp;#39;s the certificate and unfortunately, itamp;#39;s a PDF and I canamp;#39;t edit the name of the recipient. Windows Portable Devices (WPD) provides an infrastructure to enable multifunction devices that store various media and non-media content.

Replies (4)  a) Click Start. b) Go to Device Manager. c) Navigate to Microsoft WPD File System Volume Driver, right-click on it and choose Uninstall. d) After the un-installation, click Action Scan for hardware changes. e) the device again. f) Reboot the computer and see how it works.
To disable write access on WPD Devices, double-click on the DenyWrite value and set the Value data as 1. Alternatively, set the Value data as 0 to enable write access.
Method 2: Uninstall WPS Office via Apps and Features/Programs and Features. Look for WPS Office in the list and click on it. The next step is to click on uninstall, so you can initiate the uninstallation.
