Now in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote you can select text and change things about it. Change the Font. Change the size, change the style. But there are some advanced options hidden behind a single button in those three apps. So here I am in Pages. Now if I select some text, say here in the body of a word processing document, or if I create a text box and select some text in there I can go to the Format sidebar and then under Style I can change things about the text. For instance I can change the font thats being used. I can change the size and I could change things like the exact style thats used. I have quick access to certain things like Bold

Thats all there is to using the strikethrough shortcut in Excel on a Mac. As you can see, its a relatively simple process. Just open up the Formatting toolbar and click on the Strikethrough button. You can also use the strikethrough shortcut by pressing Command+Shift+X on your keyboard.
Drag your cursor over the text you want to redact, and youll see that it becomes black with hash marks. You can change the redaction as you edit; drag your cursor over text to add the black redaction, drag again to remove it. If you hover your cursor over redacted text, you can see what the text is.
To create one, follow these steps: Select a word. Go to the menu Format, submenu Fonts, option Show Fonts. On the Fonts window, click on the first or the second buttons (Underline and Strikethrough) to the right of the cogwheel. On the drop-down, choose Single or Double (see the image below).
Select a shape, text box, or image. In the Arrange pane of the Format inspector, click a Flip button to flip an object vertically or horizontally.
Unlink a text box Click the text box, click the circle at the top, then choose Remove from Thread.
2. Use your Font dialog box shortcuts to strikethrough text (PC Only) Select the text (or object with text) that you want to strikethrough on your slide. Hit Ctrl+T on your keyboard to open the Font dialog box. Inside the Font dialog box, hit Alt+K to select the single strikethrough. Hit Enter for okay.
This shortcut will open the Strikethrough menu so you can quickly format your text with a strike through. Simply highlight the text you want to format, then press Ctrl+Shift+S on your keyboard. The Strikethrough menu will appear and you can select the desired option.
