- The problem space and solution space refer to two distinct phases in UX research and design. When describing these two phases, I like to refer to the double diamond model created by the UKamp;#39;s Design Council as a helpful visual aid. The problem space can be represented by the first diamond, which includes the discover and define stages. In the problem space, a team is discovering information about the problem to be solved, defining what the problem is, as well as understanding who the problem affects. The second diamond represents the solution space where solution ideas are being explored, designed and tested. Both the problem space and the solution space involve user research, but each space requires different user research methods. In the problem space, since weamp;#39;re trying to learn about the problem and the affected users, weamp;#39;ll need to utilize exploratory research methods like user interviews, observational research in the field and diary studies. The recommended way to indent YAML files is to use two spaces per level of indentation, as tabs can cause parsing errors. You can use a YAML linter or formatter to check and correct your indentation automatically.
Indentation is meaningful in YAML. Make sure that you use spaces, rather than tab characters, to indent sections. In the default configuration files and in all the examples in the documentation, we use 2 spaces per indentation level. We recommend you do the same.
where \s* : Matches zero or more whitespace characters (spaces, tabs, newlines). When used after a capturing group, it excludes any whitespace immediately after the content captured by that group from being included in the match. It works well, consider explaining your setup in more details.
So, to make metacharacters work in RegEx, you need to escape them with a backslash ( \ ). In the example below, I was able to match the space characters because I escaped the s : For the example below, I was able to match the numbers because I escaped the d :
Double Quotes Enclosing a string in double quotes is the most common way to escape special characters in YAML. Inside double-quoted strings, special characters are treated literally.
The recommended indentation for YAML files is two spaces per level, but YAML can also follow any indentation system that the individual file uses. However, you should be consistent and avoid mixing different indentation styles in the same file.
YAML is case-sensitive. YAML is whitespace-sensitive and indentation defines the structure, but it doesnt accept tabs for indentation.
The RegExp \S Metacharacter in JavaScript is used to find the non-whitespace characters. The whitespace character can be a space/tab/new line/vertical character. It is the same as [^\t\n\r].
