theres a tube it has a cap and youre going to put some of the fluid that comes in a little bottle we fill it up to a very hard to see line i wash my hands i lay this little device that looks like this flat if you dont do the swab right you can get a test thats falsely negative it goes in at least half an inch squish it around on the sides of your nose and then you take the swab put it into this little vial swirl swirl swirl and then you pinch it theres a spot here where you can crack the swab it falls into the tube blue cap on white cap on the bottom off one two three four five youll notice im keeping it very flat and you cant read the result until all the pink goes away it takes 15 minutes this is what a positive test looks like two lines and this is what a negative result looks like only one line

The Ottawa Ankle Rules are guidelines indicating that x-ray studies should be obtained if there is pain in the malleolar zone and A) bony tenderness at the distal 6 cm of the fibula or B) bony tenderness at the distal 6 cm of the tibia or inability to take 4 steps immediately after injury.
The Ottawa Ankle Rules indicate that a radiograph is indicated if any of the following are positive: tenderness along the posterior medial or lateral malleoli, base of the 5th metatarsal, navicular or if the patient is unable to bear weight for 4 steps following the injury.
