For csv, in general you need to avoid the character which you are using as delimiter, and the single row should not be split into multiple rows, meaning there should not be any enter character in between the data of a single record.
CSV does not have null concept. You will need to handle that case yourself. You could leave the cell empty and then map an empty cell to None.
How to remove double quotes from CSV in Excel - Quora. In the Find what field of the Dialog box type in a double quote.
If you can guarantee the values wont contain commas or double quote characters, one option you have is to simply use the replace() function to replace all quotation marks with an empty string and you wont need to use the Text Parser module.
Resolution. A delimited file is the same as a CSV (comma-separated value) file. CSV files use double-quote marks to delimit field values that have spaces, so a value like Santa Claus gets saved as Santa Claus to preserve the space.
You can just open the CSV file in Excel and replace all the quotation marks with an empty line that will remove all of them.
1 Answer replace the double quotes with some other character (eg tilde ~ ); Generate the csv file. then use a text-editor (eg notepad, notepad++) on the resultant file to replace the other character with the double-quote, then send it to your program that apparently doesnt recognize this feature of csv files.
