Deactivating a QR Code is a feature of Dynamic QR Codes. It is not possible to deactivate a Static QR Code as it stores the data in the QR Code itself.
Static QR Codes leave you unable to do so, but dynamic QR Codes are editable. You can easily redirect a dynamic QR Code by changing the URL or the content that it leads to.
One of the primary reasons for QR Code not working is if its blurred. This happens when you download QR Codes in an incorrect format and resize them- which can lead to a blurred QR Code. A blurry QR Code image might not be correctly interpreted by a scanner.
It is used to encode digits and does not support negative numbers. The numeric mode can store up to 7,089 characters. Micro QR Codes and QR Codes support the numeric mode.
Resolution requirements For QR Codes QR Codes should be generated at an appropriate resolution to ensure clarity and sharpness, especially when printed in larger sizes. If youre not sure about what resolution your QR Code should be, the 38 x 38 px configuration for a 1 cm x 1 cm QR Code is a good starting point.
Do not invert QR Code Colors. We see this mistake a lot. QR codes with a black or dark background and a white or lighter foreground may look great in some design scenarios, but they cant be scanned with all QR Code scanner apps.
Security Concerns: Vulnerable to phishing if not encrypted. Tech Dependency: Requires a smartphone with a camera and internet access. Connectivity: Needs a stable internet connection to complete transactions. User Familiarity: Some customers may not understand how to use QR codes.
Keep in mind that extreme digression from a QR Codes shape will make it unrecognizable and unscannable for QR Code scanners.
