Scannability issues can result from several factors, including poor QR Code placement, blurry images, and improper QR Code size.
Error correction Level L (Low)7% of data bytes can be restored. Level M (Medium) 15% of data bytes can be restored. Level Q (Quartile) 25% of data bytes can be restored. Level H (High) 30% of data bytes can be restored.
Hover over the QR code. The following icon displays in the lower-right corner of the QR code: Click on the icon and drag your mouse either up and to the left (to reduce the size of the QR code) or down and to the right (to increase the size of the QR code).
Understanding the Structure of QR Codes Alignment Pattern: Smaller black and white nested squares that ensure the code can be read even if the code is skewed or on a curved surface. They tell the reader software where to place the grid.
Then at some point you have to decode this pseudo-text back into an original data because base64 gibberish in itself is useless. Decoding performs similar binary operations but in reverse. The restored data is guaranteed to be exactly the same as before encoding.
There are permanent areas, such as the white and black squares at the corners and a binary line connecting those squares that should not be altered. Changing those areas may make the QR code unreadable. See this Wikipedia article on QR Code design.
You can disguise your QR code as part of an image. Since visual QR codes are customizable, you can add them to the overall picture using the same color scheme. By doing so, you will still be able to maintain the images aesthetic, and users wont notice that you hide a QR code in that image.
Yes, as long as the original QR Code is Dynamic. You can update all aspects of Dynamic QR Codes, including the short URL, any content on your landing page or even the type of QR Code used, which is basically the same as redirecting the QR Code to a new function.
